Job Description:

  • Plan and deliver group and individual lessons
  • Plan and deliver lessons for general and specific purposes
  • Plan and deliver lessons on a face-to-face or online basis
  • Deliver lessons at the school or the client’s office
  • Set and mark homework assignments
  • Monitor learners’ progress and produce timely reports
  • Administer and mark pre- and post-course assessment tests
  • Organise and take part in social activities
  • Take part in professional development programmes
  • Comply with the school’s policy and administrative procedures



  • Possess a high level of linguistic competence (e.g. ability to describe the systems of the language, and ability to use it proficiently and in a manner that conforms to the context and norms of a language classroom).
  • Hold a high school diploma, university degree, equivalent or higher educational qualification.
  • Be a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, Dependent’s Pass holder, Diplomatic Pass holder or Long-term Visit Pass holder.
  • Not have been convicted of any offence involving sexual, child, physical or drug abuse, or fraud or dishonesty
  • Not have been convicted of any offence under the Private Education Act (Singapore) within a period of 5 years preceding the date of job application
  • Possess computer skills and be familiar with online teaching applications
  • Be presentable, dynamic and proactive, and possess excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills.



Candidates with teaching qualifications and experience will be given priority, although we welcome all applications as training can be provided.
